南京市对外文化交流中心成立于2007年8月，是经南京市机构编制委员会批准的社会服务组织。其宗旨是通过民间的国际文化交流，与各国、各地区人民增进了解，发展友谊，为南京经济发展、科学进步、文化繁荣服务。

南京市对外文化交流中心设有理事会。理事会由艺术家、学者、企业家等社会知名人士组成。理事会常设办事机构是秘书处，下设开展交流的业务部门。

业务活动包括：对外宣传、民间社会交流、文化艺术交流、中外学术交流等。南京市对外文化交流中心愿与海内外人士携手合作，开拓广阔的发展空间。 

Nanjing Association For Culture Communication is a social commonweal organization founded in 2007, with its purpose to enhance the understanding and friendship with people throughout the world and serve the economic, scientific and cultural development of Nanjing through nongovernmental international cultural exchange. 

The Council of Nanjing Association For Culture Communication is made up of artists, scholars, entrepreneurs and other celebrities in various fields. Its permanent office is the Secretariat, in charge of operational sectors that conduct cultural exchange.
