为了深化我市对外宣传工作,发动社会各界广泛开展民间对外文化交流,提升南京的国际知名度与美誉度,南京市对外文化交流中心首次发起“百家对外文化交流基地”、“百名对外文化交流使者”评选活动。该活动自2009年开始,由市委宣传部、市外办、市文广新局和我文化中心共同组织,在社会上形成了广泛的影响力。经过三届评选,共评选出南京对外文化交流基地79家,南京对外文化交流使者144名,此项活动不仅拓展了我市对外宣传的渠道,也是运用民间力量开展公共外交活动的一次尝试。
